Get Back

Just one more then I'll post thoughts not videos: The Fab Four in their last-ever public concert. On a rooftop! Amazing. I love the dapper gents and the upstanding young men jumping across the rooftops to come take a look and see what the noise is all about. Talk about going out on top...

I rember way back when my good buddy (not that one, this one) Ryan Adams somehow rented a VHS copy of the Let It Be film that this is from.

Wow. It's no wonder that they broke up after that album. The tension is opressive whenever they're in the room together.

There's a moment when George is playing "I Me Mine," and his guitar squeals feedback. Someday I will write a song titled "George Recoils In Fear" inhonor of this moment. Because I think that is an excellent name for a song, don't you?

Yeah, the cool thing about the video is you can taste the tension between the group members. They're playing, and they're playing well, but their minds and hearts are on four different continents. It's amazing how far apart they grew in such a short time. Dang Yoko!
